Volunteer: Impact Data Infrastructure

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Our organization is looking to maximize the way we collect and analyze impact data to better demonstrate our value to stakeholders and position ourselves to secure capacity-building revenue! We're in search of a volunteer to help us optimize our impact data infrastructure by recommending improvements to our current data collection processes across our organization and developing a data tool to visualize key data insights. This project will include the following potential tasks: -Conduct an audit of our current data collection processes and the type of data points currently collected -Recommend enhancements to our data collection processes to ensure we're capturing the most relevant data to demonstrate our program impact -Develop a data visualization tool that allows our organization to track our key performance indicators (KPIs), identify program trends, and pull key impact insights By optimizing our infrastructure for collecting and analyzing impact data, we'll be better equipped to further improve our ability to demonstrate our value to potential funders and secure empowering financial resources.Dementia Care Warriors exists to ensure that dementia family caregivers don’t have to navigate caregiving alone. Through education, community, and resources, we help caregivers move from overwhelm to confidence. This project will help us better capture and understand the real impact of that work. Every day, caregivers tell us they feel less isolated, more supported, and more equipped after engaging with our programs—but we need stronger systems to consistently measure and communicate those outcomes. With your help, we can turn those experiences into clear, meaningful data that demonstrates what’s working and where we can grow. That means we can: Reach more caregivers with the right support Strengthen and expand our programs Secure the funding needed to sustain and scale our impact Ultimately, your work will help more families navigating conditions like Alzheimer's disease find connection, relief, and support when they need it most. This is an opportunity to help us show up more powerfully for caregivers and the communities we serve. To support the execution of this project, the volunteer will have access to staff members who work closely with our data collection and reporting processes. We will provide details about our program, mission, and vision, as well as materials currently used for data collection (e.g. surveys intake forms, budgetary information about program expenses, etc.) Additionally, we'll share how we're currently using data to communicate with key stakeholders and support our fundraising efforts.Dementia Care Warriors Mission: To provide non medical resources and support to caregivers caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or related dementia.
