POSITION SUMMARYC.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate - Traffic Clerk. If you're ready to make a difference and contribute to a culture of excellence, apply now!DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Regulate all traffic entering and exiting the facility, ensuring adherence to check-in/out and security proceduresDirect visitors and professional drivers to appropriate areas within the facility groundsComplete accurate paperwork and input driver's license information and seal numbers into the systemReport trailer conditions and temperatures upon arrival and departureVerify seal numbers on trailers and update yard management program accordinglyCoordinate special needs with customer supervision and managementAssign drop/pickup locations and record relevant data in the customer systemVerify inbound and outbound shipments, matching paperwork and recording dataUpdate customer system with pickup and delivery informationAssist Shipping/Receiving Clerk as neededMonitor security cameras, screen visitors, and oversee building securityEnsure building security by checking doors and monitoring entrances/exitsServe as a point of contact for emergency situations when necessary.Maintain professional and courteous communication with drivers and team membersQUALIFICATIONSRequired:Must be at least 18 years oldMinimum 1 year of previous experience in traffic clerk related rolesExperience with Warehouse Management SystemsPrevious experience with Microsoft Suite of Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)Previous data entry experienceApplicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offerMust be able to lift (up to) 15 pounds at timesMust be able to access all areas of the company's property to inspect security measuresAble to walk long distances, perimeter of truck lot, throughout facility, etc.Able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk and working on a computerAbility to work scheduled shift as assignedPreferred:High school diploma or GEDEffective and flexible communication skills, verbal and written (handwriting is important)Ability to catch information (such as load numbers, driver information, confirmation numbers, etc.) accurately in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow verbal and written directions given by leadership and/or trainersValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.Compensation Range$16.25 - $24.07The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
