Infant Assistant Teacher

Exhibit a compassionate and professional Christian attitude with students, parents, and other employees. Can assist classroom activities and instruct children (ages newborn-18months) in activities designed to promote spiritual, social, physical, and academically. Assist with lesson plans using a variety of learning opportunities such as story-telling, artwork, free play, circle time, and other methods. Collaborate with other teachers and caregivers to foster a positive classroom environment that promotes caring, learning, and responsibility. Communicate with parents regarding schedules, daily reports, developmental milestones and child's needs. Report to the director regarding classroom events, necessities, and opportunities. A successful applicant needs a strong understanding of child development and a nurturing teaching approach in the classroom.
