DescriptionGeneral Responsibilities:Responsible for curriculum development and delivery of both theoretical and hands-on instruction, including supervision of clinical rotations, classroom management, and completion of administrative tasks such as reporting, syllabus creation, and lesson plan development. Oversee student progress, ensuring alignment with course/program learning outcomes. Prepare and maintain up-to-date course syllabi for all courses taught. Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format if needed. Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabus. Ensure all courses adhere to the established syllabus and recommend necessary instructional materials and laboratory/facilities equipment for course effectiveness.Examples of DutiesJob FunctionThe same as listed in General Responsibilities.Typical QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Minimum of an Associate's degree required. Must possess a current RN license, Registered EMT or Paramedic license, or be an experienced EKG technician with 3-5 years of experience directly in performing EKGs, including familiarity with various types of heart rhythms and conditions. Must have an active BLS certification. Previous instructional experience required. Applicant must submit current resume and proof of certification/licensure.Preferred RequirementsAssociates Degree or higher preferred. 5+ years working as a RN, Registered EMT or Paramedic ,or an experienced EKG technician with experience directly in performing EKGs, including familiarity with various types of heart rhythms and conditions, preferably in a hospital, cardiac, or physicians' office preferred. Two or more years of instructional experience preferred. Certification/Licensure required.
