Job Overview: UAS Training PilotProject Summary:Join our growing Robotics program to support the advancement of UAS operations.Key Responsibilities:Develop use cases and identify flying techniques to enhance deliverables.Ensure leadership in UAS safety and risk management policies.Collaborate with the UAS Program Manager on corporate communications and outreach.Train pilots on new techniques to improve operational performance.Support training for new Part 107 certification pilots on flying and internal processes.Maintain consistency in UAS operational procedures and enforce them across all sites.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan to ensure mission-critical operations.Integrate new technologies with existing functions.Required Skills:FAA Certification: Part 107.Willingness to travel for up to one week at a time.Preferred Skills:Extensive knowledge of UAS safety and utility infrastructure policies.Strong technical understanding of UAS market and model capabilities.Proficient in radio communications technology used in UAS operations.Knowledge of UAS IT components, including data management and integration.Education & Experience:Minimum of a 2-year college degree.FAA Certification: Part 107 (Part 61 preferred).2+ years managing drone operations strongly preferred.1+ years of experience managing drone equipment.1+ years of experience in the utility industry.If you’re passionate about UAS technology and safety, we encourage you to apply!
