We are hiring a Reimbursement Associate to support our prior authorization workflows. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build expertise in AI and healthcare, while working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities You will work with our customers to ensure their cases progress smoothly through the platform. Responsibilities will include: Managing assigned cases, including intake, follow-up, and resolution Records organization, management, and documentation Communication with providers, payors, and customers to obtain missing information, coordinate submissions, and troubleshoot data discrepancies Quality control across AI-generated materials, including documentation for appeals and letters of medical necessity Identifying documentation gaps and escalate issues as needed Providing feedback on recurring issues to improve workflows over time Qualifications Basic understanding of medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) 2–4 years of experience in reimbursement, patient access, revenue cycle, or related healthcare operations Based in the Philadelphia area, with an ability to work in-person 2-4 times a month Familiarity with payer workflows across commercial and government plans Experience with prior auth denials, appeals processes, and benefits verification and investigation Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently Clear and professional communication skills Preferred qualifications: Experience in multiple therapeutic areas, provider operations, or HUB services Clinical background (e.g., RN, LPN) preferred but not required The strongest candidates for this role are: Detail-oriented and reliable, with strong follow-through Curious and eager to learn Organized operators who can manage multiple priorities Collaborative team members who know when to escalate and ask questions Comfortable working in AI-enabled workflows Compensation Rubrum offers a flexible work environment and opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company.
