ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a collaborative, physician-led neonatal team within a modern Level III NICU in Carrollton, Georgia. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers a balanced home-call schedule, strong support from Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and the chance to practice in a renovated facility within a nationally recognized healthcare system located just outside Atlanta. Dates / Schedule Permanent, full-time positionFlexible schedule structure with daytime APP/NNP supportHome-based call coverage rotation for NICU responsibilitiesCollaborative 3-physician staffing modelRequires residence within the immediate Carrollton area; relocation may be requiredNot accepting locum candidatesNot accepting visa candidates Job Details / Responsibilities Provide neonatology coverage for a Level III NICU with:10 NICU bedsApproximately 1,000 annual birthsDeliver care in a 20-bed newborn unitPerform daily NICU and newborn roundingManage critically ill and premature infantsProvide neonatal admissions, stabilization, and ongoing managementCollaborate closely with:Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)Nursing staffMultidisciplinary care teamsParticipate in a team-based neonatal care environment with daily NNP supportMaintain high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care standardsPractice in a renovated, state-of-the-art facility within a respected health system Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal MedicineActive Georgia medical license or willingness to obtainCompletion of Neonatology training/fellowship requiredNeonatology experience required; experienced candidates onlyClean malpractice and license history strongly preferredDEA required prior to start dateNPDB Self-Query report within 30 days required at presentationMust specify whether visa sponsorship is required (J1/H1B), though visa candidates are not being accepted
