Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Boston area for a Cyber Security Analyst. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and mitigating cyber threats to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include implementing security protocols, conducting vulnerability assessments, performing incident response, analyzing security breaches, and developing comprehensive reports. The role also involves staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively identify threats and improve system defenses. Qualifications Experience in cybersecurity analysis, threat detection, and vulnerability assessment.Proficiency in security tools, such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.Strong skills in risk management, compliance, and security framework implementation.Knowledge of network security protocols, infrastructure, and malware analysis.Familiarity with scripting or programming languages, such as Python or PowerShell.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess and address threats effectively.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are highly desirable.Prior experience in a similar role or within the technology industry is preferred.
