Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Adult Mental Health (Behavioral Health) position requiring at least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience and an active AR or compact RN license.Job Details• Work setting is an inpatient adult psychiatric/behavioral health unit within a hospital,• Night shift position: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM,• Every other weekend required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active AR state RN license or compact (multistate) RN license required,• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date,• SAMA (Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression) certification required; can be completed at the facility if needed,• Minimum 1 year of recent Behavioral Health / Psychiatric RN experience required,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,• Valid US driver's license required for consideration,• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted,Additional Information• Responsible for shift accountability in delivering care to adult psychiatric patients using the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies,• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care,• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not eligible,• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible,
