Contracted Adjunct Faculty

The organization serves as a vital bridge between secondary education and career readiness. Role Description This is a part-time, contracted on-site role located in River Grove, IL. The Adjunct Faculty member will collaborate with local schools and educational partners to develop, deliver, and assess course curricula, primarily in career and technical education. Responsibilities include teaching, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and ensuring alignment with DVR's educational objectives. The Adjunct Faculty member will also participate in faculty meetings, maintain an organized learning environment, and provide support and guidance to students to foster their academic and career growth. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional designClassroom teaching experience and the ability to assess student performance effectivelyStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsKnowledge of career and technical education programs and postsecondary pathwaysProficiency in using educational technology for teaching and learning purposesFamiliarity with state and federal educational standards and funding requirementsBachelor's degree in education, career and technical education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
