ARMI provides technical and wrap-around commercialization services to companies seeking to advance technologies that will contribute to this impact.The Impact That You Will MakeARMI Contracting legal department is seeking a highly motivated student to support the organization's contracting and operational compliance functions during Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on experience working within a mission-driven nonprofit organization that collaborates extensively with government agencies, educational and research institutions, industry partners, and commercial stakeholders.The intern will assist with drafting and administration of commercial and federally funded agreements, support compliance and regulatory interpretation efforts, and contribute to implementation and optimization of ARMI's contract management systems and processes.This role is ideal for students interested in contract management, legal operations, government-funded programs, nonprofit administration, compliance, procurement, or business operations.Your RoleAssist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing: Service Agreements, including master service agreementsNon-Disclosure AgreementsStatements of WorkGovernment-funded subaward and subcontract agreementsAmendments, modifications, and related contractual documentsSupport contract lifecycle management activities, including: Contract intake and trackingExecution coordinationFile management and records organizationConduct research related to: Federal funding requirementsCompliance obligationsRegulatory and contractual interpretationGovernment contracting and nonprofit grant administrationAssist in implementation and continuous improvement of a contract management system, including: Data migration and organizationTemplate standardizationWorkflow documentationProcess optimization initiativesCollaborate with legal, finance, operations, program management, and external stakeholdersSupport development of internal guidance materials, compliance checklists, and contract administration proceduresParticipate in special projects supporting ARMI's operational and strategic initiativesYour Skills And ExperiencesCurrently enrolled in a law and legal studies program or any related program preferredExcellent writing skills, attention to detail and analytical abilityStrong communication and organizational skillsInterest in contracts, compliance, nonprofit operations, or government-funded programsFamiliarity with basic contract concepts preferred but not requiredAbility to manage confidential and sensitive information professionallyProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with databases or contract management platforms is a plusPersonal AttributesCommitment to quality, scientific integrity, and company missionStrong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesTeam-oriented mindset with collaborative cross-functional approachBy applying, I understand that any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, in accordance with applicable laws.
