Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in North Charleston, SC, for a Diesel Technician. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing scheduled vehicle maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance checks, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and completing necessary repairs. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and in compliance with safety protocols, communicating with customers when needed, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities. Qualifications Hands-on experience in Vehicle Maintenance, including scheduling and conducting regular upkeep to ensure reliability and efficiency.Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance techniques to identify and address potential issues before they result in major problems.Strong skills in Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical system issues effectively.Expertise in Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to perform complex repairs to diesel engines and related systems.Good Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide clear updates to customers about the status of maintenance or repair work.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.High school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred certification in diesel technology or a related field.Knowledge of safe work practices and relevant OSHA regulations.Previous experience working on commercial vehicles is a plus.
