Windows System Engineer

Role SummaryWe are seeking a senior‑level Windows and Print Services engineer to support and maintain a large‑scale, enterprise printing environment. This role requires deep hands‑on experience with Windows Server print infrastructure, enterprise endpoints, and Tier 3 troubleshooting in production environments. Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required. Required QualificationsCore Technical ExperienceStrong hands‑on experience with: Windows Server (including Print Services role)Windows 10 / Windows 11 in enterprise environmentsCentralized print servers supporting large production user populations Printing & Device ExpertiseHands‑on experience with: HP enterprise printersPrinter driver management, with strong preference for HP Universal Print DriverTCP/IP printing, including queue creation and troubleshootingDNS fundamentals as related to printingSNMP basics for printer status and monitoring Support & TroubleshootingDemonstrated ability to operate independently at a Tier 3 support levelRoot‑cause analysis of complex print failuresPerformance and stability troubleshootingSupport of mission‑critical printing environments Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have QualificationsExperience with Group Policy related to printing and endpoint configurationPrior experience in healthcare or other regulated environmentsFamiliarity with printing in VDI environmentsExposure to IGEL‑based printing or non‑traditional endpoint platformsCompensation: $55.00/hr to $75.00/hr.
