ROSS Consultancy USA is looking for a sharp and motivated Field Engineer to join our Arizona team on a major Semiconductor project in Chandler, Arizona.The successful candidate will support site operations on the swing shift (14:00 – 00:00).With over 30 years of engineering expertise, ROSS Consultancy delivers technical solutions on high-value projects for Blue-Chip clients across Semiconductor, Hyperscale Data Centers, Life Sciences, and Advanced Manufacturing. This is an environment built on technical excellence, fast-paced delivery, and real career progression.This is a hands-on field role, serving as the critical link between design intent and field execution — ensuring every installation is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule through the night shift.Field Engineer – What You'll DoSupport the Swing-Shift Superintendent in overseeing all field construction activities within your assigned area of the semiconductor facilityReview and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work packages to verify that field installations meet design requirementsConduct regular site walks and inspections to monitor workmanship, identify deficiencies, and drive timely resolutionMaintain detailed daily field reports, including progress logs, red-line drawings, and as-built documentationCoordinate with trade contractors, equipment vendors, and tool installation teams to keep work flowing efficiently across the night shiftTrack and document RFIs, submittals, and non-conformance reportsAssist in planning and scheduling overnight work activities, ensuring materials, equipment, and labor are aligned ahead of each shiftActively participate in safety observations, toolbox talks, and incident reporting in line with site safety protocolsEscalate design conflicts, field clashes, or schedule risks to the Superintendent or Project Engineer promptlyField Engineer – What We're Looking ForIdeally 2–5 years of experience in a field engineering or construction engineering role on large-scale industrial or technology facility projectsSemiconductor, Data Center, Cleanroom, or other mission-critical project experience is a strong advantageProficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, P&IDs, and specifications across multiple disciplinesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to contractors and managementDetail-oriented with excellent organisational and documentation habitsA self-starter who can work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hoursOSHA certification preferredIf you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity and want to see a detailed job description, please contact Darren.Faughnan@ROSS-ES.com
