Class A CDL Delivery Driver
Job DescriptionA local company is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to pick up and make deliveries. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Job Responsibilities:Safely operate tractor-trailers and specialized trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, across varied routesLoad and unload golf carts efficiently, ensuring proper securing of golf cartsConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securementMaintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with transportation regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transitFollow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and othersJob RequirementsJob Qualifications:Must have a valid CDL-A License with no more than 4 pointsMust have an experience operating a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers with manual transmissionsProven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and freight handling is requiredMust have excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructionsMust have a strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement.Only candidates that can pass a background and BMV check will be considered.Area Temps still believes that the best way to serve both our employees and our customers is through personal service.
