This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, with rotating starts as early as 7 AM to facilitate patient handoffs, and includes potential weekend availability. The Physician will be responsible for pediatric hematology consults, admissions, and rounding, alongside assisting with emergency department consults and new hospital admissions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage pediatric hematology consults, admissions, and rounding.
Assist with consults presenting in the Emergency Department.
Oversee new admissions from the hospital.
Participate in a rotating schedule, including early morning patient handoffs.
Additional Information
Board Certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology is required.
Experience with Epic EMR system.
