VP / Director Of Software EngineeringAs the VP of Software Engineering you will support the leadership team providing strategic vision and direction for a dynamic senior level software team. Working lock step with the CTO you will be comfortable understanding architecture, project implementation, project management and the details needed to balance the tech stack with business objectives.We have reinvented and created a payments engine that offers real-time payments, revenue and engagement to our customers. Our software is like nothing else available in the marketplace today. We are experiencing exponential growth and maintain close to 80% of the market. The ideal candidate will have experience:Providing direction and support for engineering teams from a technical and tactical perspectiveManaging dynamic coders ensuring quality and efficient delivery in a fast-paced development environmentBeing a liaison between senior level business units and engineeringUnderstanding and implementing relevant compliance standardsRequirements:4+ yrs Management / leadership of software development teams4+ yrs Architectural experience (i.e. work as a visionary)2+ yrs previous experience in a technical development role (although this role will not be a coding role)Recommended but not required:Experience with Compliance and Payments a plusExperience with billion-dollar payment systemsExperience with scaling a hypergrowth companyBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceOpen Source technologies (i.e. JAVA, REST, Linux)
