HRIS Data & Systems ConsultantNational Healthcare organization headquartered in Charlotte is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused HRIS Data & Systems Consultant to support targeted, project-based efforts across our HR technology landscape. This role is designed for a contractor who can independently assess issues, define scope and effort, execute solutions, and deliver clean, documented outcomes without ongoing operational ownership.The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, works quickly, and brings structure to complex system and data challenges. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is requiredThis is a 6+ month contract role with a pay rate of $40-60/hr. This position is based in Charlotte NC and is an onsite positionHow This Role OperatesWork is assigned as discrete problem statements or initiatives.Contractor is expected to:Assess the problemDefine scope, approach, and estimated effortExecute independentlyDeliver output + documentationOnce complete, the contractor transitions to the next priorityThis is not a ticket-based or day-to-day support roleKey ResponsibilitiesProblem Scoping & Solution DesignEvaluate ambiguous HRIS/data issues and translate into structured work plansDefine level of effort, dependencies, and risksRecommend optimal approach before executionData Analysis & System Audits (Primary Focus)Perform deep analysis across SuccessFactors and downstream systemsBuild and execute data audits, reconciliations, and validation frameworksIdentify root causes of data inconsistencies and systemic issuesExecution & DeliveryIndependently execute solutions with minimal oversightDeliver:Clean datasetsAudit outputsRoot cause summariesRecommended fixesEnsure solutions are scalable not one-off fixesProcess & System OptimizationIdentify gaps in processes (e.g., position management, transfers, integrations)Recommend and implement improvementsStandardize outputs for reuse by internal teamDocumentation & Knowledge TransferProvide clear, structured documentation of:ProblemApproachSolutionOngoing considerationsEnable internal team to sustain outcomes post-engagementRequired Qualifications5 10+ years in HRIS / HR Technology / HR Data rolesStrong hands-on experience with SuccessFactors (Employee Central required)Advanced Excel expertise (non-negotiable)Pivot tables, complex formulasData reconciliationStrongly preferred: Power QueryProven experience working with large, complex datasets across systemsAbility to scope work independently and estimate effort accuratelyStrong root cause analysis skills (not just surface-level fixes)PreferredExperience with Payroll (SAP ECP, ADP) and/or Workforce ManagementExperience working in post-implementation stabilization environmentsExperience building audit tools or data validation frameworksKey Skills / Words:SAP SuccessFactorsHRISData analysisExcelAuditValidationsITSAPAnalytics
