Process Engineer

Job DescriptionGlobal polyurethane foam manufacturer needs a PROCESS ENGINEER for their Greensboro NC plant!!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. Understand ISO 9001 requirements / company's Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through the company's Quality Policy. Modify existing reporting systems for new methods, new material specifications and new products Create new machinery and process systems Implement process improvements Write and update standard operating procedures Train personnel Develop and modify foam formulations that meet customer and organization expectations Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate. Cross train in other positions as required. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor. Review KPI metrics such as yield and scrap reportsEducation / ExperienceChemical or mechanical engineering degree or at least 3+ years manufacturing experience, preferably some in the polymer industry.CLIENT DETAILSLarge, successful company with lots of growth potential!!
