Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionOVERVIEWCadrex is searching for a Maintenance Technician III with advanced experience supporting metal fabrication and CNC production equipment, specifically laser cutting systems, CNC punching machines, and press brake machines.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, CNC punching machines, and press brakesDiagnosing complex issues across mechanical and electrical systemsLeading preventive and predictive maintenance programsMinimizing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvementReading and interpreting electrical schematics, PLC logic (basic), and technical manualsSupporting installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipmentServing as a senior technical resource on the production floorRequirementsRequired Qualifications5–8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentDirect, hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining metal fabrication equipment, including:Press BrakesCNC Laser MachinesCNC Turret Press EquipmentCombo Machines (laser/punch)Experience working with leading fabrication equipment brands such as:TRUMPFAmadaToyokokiDiamondStrong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsProven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues independently, including root cause analysisExperience performing:Preventive maintenance (PMs)Diagnostics and troubleshooting Emergency/breakdown repairs on production equipmentAbility to read and interpret:Electrical schematicsBlueprintsMaintenance manuals and technical documentationProficiency using:Diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipmentHand tools and power toolsStrong ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills for CMMS/maintenance tracking systems and documentationEDUCATIONAssociate/Technical degree in related field preferredLOCATIONOnsiteSCHEDULEM-F First Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30PM WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
