Manufacturing EngineerHuntersville, NCFull Time | On SiteStarting at 120kKey ResponsibilitiesConvert 2D engineering blueprints into accurate 3D CAD modelsCreate fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings from CAD modelsApply and generate GD&T tolerances per ASME standardsMap dimensions and tolerance stack-ups to ensure manufacturabilityRelease build-ready prints to production teamsDevelop process plans, travelers, and work instructionsCreate and formalize SOPs where limited documentation existsDefine manufacturing sequences, inspection steps, and checkpointsSupport multiple active programs in a high-mix environmentCollaborate closely with design, quality, and production teams Required Qualifications3 to 7 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a high volume production environment (automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace) Strong proficiency generating tolerances on manufacturing printsAdvanced working knowledge of GD&TSolidWorks experience for 3D modeling and drawing creationAutoCAD experience for 2D drawing workProven ability to convert models into fully dimensioned printsExperience supporting production through released documentation Preferred QualificationsAerospace manufacturing experienceAutomotive or high-volume industrial manufacturing backgroundTooling, tool design, or fixture design experienceExperience creating SOPs and travelers from scratch Manufacturing EnvironmentAerospace component manufacturingHigh-mix, multi-program workloadApproximately 10,000 parts produced annuallyMultiple concurrent programs and tight tolerances
