Job Summary The Development Coordinator is a role designed to support the organization’s fundraising operations, donor engagement, and event coordination efforts. This position will focus on coordinating calendars, processing pledges, maintaining donor records in Neon (CRM), and assisting with grant and sponsorship deliverables. In addition, the Development Coordinator will help support fundraising events by working closely with the Development and Events team to track sponsorships, registrations, and payments, and assist as needed with operational components. The role will also involve supporting various administrative tasks, including managing electronic files, reconciling department expenses, and organizing travel arrangements for the Development team. The Development Coordinator will work collaboratively across teams to ensure seamless integration of fundraising, programmatic and financial processes. Primarily reporting to the Development Manager with oversight from the Chief Development Officer, the ideal candidate will bring nonprofit fundraising and event coordination experience, strong organizational and technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) Coordinating meeting times for Development team, donors, and team members (calendaring). Assist with the project management of grant/sponsorship deliverables, as related to fundraising and programs, including tracking of deliverables. Support program and development teams in coordinating moves management and action item tracking for donors and prospects. Draft outreach materials on behalf of Development and Program departments to donors and key stakeholders Maintain donor profiles in CRM (Neon). Manage all development/fundraising-related data entry in CRM in coordination with Development Manager Support Development and Events team for fundraising events Coordination and tracking of attendees (registration), ticket purchases, and outstanding payments. Maintaining electronic files and folders (Google Drive and CRM). Processing invites via Paperless Post for smaller fundraising dinners/events. Coordinating and booking travel arrangements for the Development team. Support the team and organization on various other projects. Qualifications Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows based PC’s, Google Drive, and HubSpot (principles of CRM use and management). 1-3 years of experience assisting with the coordination of events. 1-3 years experience coordinating within a sales or fundraising department. 3-5 years of experience in a program/administrative coordinator, or executive assistant position. Strong speaking and writing skills. Experience coordinating fundraising campaigns or other major sales/development initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in administration, communications, or other field related to non-profit fundraising/administration. *Experience evaluated in lieu of education*. Location · This is a hybrid/remote position. Candidate must reside in California, preferably Bay or North Bay/Napa. Position will be required to travel to Napa Valley, San Francisco, and other areas around the United States dependent on fundraising event needs. Candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed to fulfill position duties. The position will be required to work between 9/1 and 9/20 every September for our major fundraising event. The One Mind office is located in Rutherford, CA. Compensation DOE: Expected starting in $70,000 range.
