Job Title:Remote Registered Dietitian (Contractor – 1099) Location:Remote – United States Employment Type:1099 Independent Contractor Hours:Minimum 16 hours/week; flexible up to 40 hours/week Compensation:Paid training | Remote | Flexible schedulingOverview: Seeking Registered Dietitians licensed in their respective states to deliver personalized, one-on-one virtual nutrition counseling. This is an independent contractor opportunity designed to offer flexibility, supplemental income, and the ability to make a lasting impact in members' health journeys.Responsibilities: Provide virtual nutrition counseling sessions with a focus on weight management and related health concerns (e.g., diabetes, behavioral nutrition) Conduct 60-minute sessions using ADIME/SOAP note methodology Create and send post-session summaries including goals and resources Manage schedule through Google Calendar, allowing members to book 48 hours in advance Schedule follow-up appointments directly with members during each session Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in ongoing trainingTraining & Onboarding: Paid training provided (~18 hours over a 2-week onboarding period) Training includes an understanding of the weight management program and digital platform tools Candidates begin training while insurance credentialing is in process Credentialing process takes approximately 6–8 weeks (varies by candidate and responsiveness) Additional support and documentation guidance availableTechnology Requirements: Minimum 16GB RAM Operating Systems: Mac OS 14/15+ or Windows 11+ No Chrome OSQualifications: Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with an active state license Must have a validNPI number CDR credentials required Strong bedside manner and ability to build rapport with clients Comfort working independently in a remote environment Team-oriented, empathetic, and professionalNice to Have: Experience in telehealth or remote counseling Multiple active state licensesHighlights: Fully remote position Flexible scheduling – set custom hours Weekly caseload tailored to availability (approx. 5 members/day for full-time) No cold calls or sales Opportunity to work alongside behavioral specialists (GPL1s)
