Assisting a young woman on the autism spectrum

Seeking an intelligent, caring and curious individual to work one-on-one with a young woman on the autism spectrum (lives in NYC and Westchester, NY).Client communicates/writes by pointing to letters on letterboards, spelling out words, sentences, paragraphs, poems, etc. She's working on learning to type. She is also a published author!Training in Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) letterboard spelling communication technique providedClient is a college student interested in topics across the humanities. One-on-one would learn the communication method, accompany the client to college classes and other activities (dance classes, hikes, workouts, etc.), and study with herSpecial needs degrees, or any degrees, are not necessary–- a curious mind, basic intelligence and a hearty sense of humor is, however, warmly welcomed.All ages welcome!Generous compensation (and potentially housing for the right person) will be providedPay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:Relocation assistanceWork Location: In person
