They are responsible for providing support for one or more persons. Frequently interacts with front desk staff. May perform diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean/maintain medical equipment.Required Education:High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Education:Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program.Required Skills:Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Computer literacy and familiarity with operations of basic office equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Ability to work in a team environment.Preferred Skills:Experience with Athena, Meditech, and/or other electronic health records software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:Certified Medical Assistant certification; current BLSRequired Experience:Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care under the direction of the provider and supervisory staff.Preferred Experience:
