Labor and Delivery Nurse

📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery📌 Location: Syracuse, NY 13215📆 Contract Length: 13 Weeks⏰ Shift: Night 3x12-Hour🏥 Unit Details• Unit: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Nursery• Floating: Required between L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery• Charting System: Epic (Preferred)📋 Experience Requirements• Minimum 1.5 years recent L&D experience (within last 2 years)• Experience in similar or higher acuity hospital required• Must have C-section circulating experience• Scrubbing C-sections preferred📜 Required Certifications & Licenses• Current New York RN License• BLS Certification🧠 Candidate Expectations• Strong labor, delivery & postpartum care skills• Ability to manage newborn and maternal care• Comfortable with floating across OB units• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills• Ability to work with minimal supervision in acute care setting
