Senior Analyst, FP&A - Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Senior Analyst with extensive experience in data analysis, budgeting and forecasting.Job Responsibilities and Duties: This role supports Pharmalogic’s FP&A group to improve our short and long- term forecasting accuracy, financial performance, and accountability to financial and operating objectives Help lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Develop financial models to support decision-making and scenario analysis. Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis, management reporting, and providing insightful commentary on financial performance. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. Identify trends, correlations, and patterns to inform strategic decisions. Assist in developing dashboards and reports to visualize financial and operational performance. Manage and optimize FP&A software platforms to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with IT teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades including tools such as Power BI Provide training and support to team members on the use of FP&A tools and software. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and objectives. Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, methodologies, and tools. Drive efficiency and accuracy through process automation and optimization. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in FP&A and data analysis. Various ad-hoc analysis and tasksJob Requirements │ Skills │Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA or CFA a plus. Experience in investment banking, private equity and/or hedge funds a big plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, including three-statement financial modeling preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Proficiency in languages such as SQL or Python a plus. Experience with FP&A software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion) is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
