The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a passion for creating clean, intuitive, and visually compelling dashboards that drive business insights in the banking or financial domain.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.Create visually engaging and user-friendly data visualizations aligned with business needs.Develop and optimize Paginated Reports (SSRS) using Report Builder.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.Perform data modeling, transformation, and integration using Power Query and DAX.Optimize queries and ensure efficient data retrieval from relational databases.Apply best practices in data visualization, UX/UI design, and performance tuning.Work with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.Required Skills & Experience12 15+ years of overall IT experience.Minimum 10 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.Proven experience designing and delivering intuitive, visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.Strong portfolio showcasing original dashboard/report designs (mandatory).Advanced proficiency in:Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling)Data visualization best practicesHands-on experience with SSRS / Paginated Reports using Report Builder.Strong SQL skills with expertise in data profiling and query optimization.Experience working with relational databases.Preferred QualificationsExperience in banking, financial services, or private equityFamiliarity with Tableau and comparative BI tools.Experience with Microsoft cloud and data platforms:Azure Data FactoryAzure DatabricksMicrosoft FabricADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage)Azure SQL / SQL MIExposure to Python-based data transformation tools and libraries.Relevant Power BI or equivalent certifications.
