Bartender

Job Summary: 11.35 per hour + tips We are seeking a professional and friendly Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting. As a bartender, you must prepare and serve drinks accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of service for guests. Perform tasks including mixing cocktails, serving drinks, keeping the bar area clean and well-stocked, and assisting with other duties as necessary to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. Duties: - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and serving guests in a timely and friendly manner. - Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine. - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the cash register and POS system. - Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions. - Manage and balance the cash register at the end of each shift. - Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to help with food and drink orders. - Provide help and guidance to coworkers as needed. - Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests. - Work efficiently and effectively during peak hours and special events. - Utilize Toast POS system to manage orders and inventory. - Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the restaurant and bar areas. Experience: - Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once. - Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide help to guests as needed. - Experience with a cash register and POS system. - Knowledge of food industry practices and regulations. - Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills: - Proficiency with Toast POS system. - A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a bartender - Strong time management skills. - Ability to work in a team environment and provide help to coworkers as needed. - Excellent customer service skills. - Experience with cash registers and food service operations.
