Rheumatology Physician

DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases in the vibrant city of Indianapolis, IN.Job Description:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, gout, vasculitis, and other autoimmune diseases.Conduct thorough physical examinations, interpret lab results, and develop individualized treatment plans.Prescribe and manage medications, including disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biologics.Perform joint injections and other procedures as needed.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.Educate patients on managing their conditions and improving their quality of life.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in rheumatology through ongoing professional development.Qualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in RheumatologyValid medical license in Indiana StateExtensive experience in diagnosing and treating rheumatologic conditionsStrong clinical judgment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environmentBenefits:Highly competitive hourly rateFlexible scheduling optionsOpportunity to make a significant impact on patients' livesAccess to a supportive and collaborative team
