Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Job Description We are a small boutique family law firm with two practicing attorneys striving to provide high quality legal representation to clients.We are looking for an articulate candidate with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate will be expected to:create a welcoming environment for current and potential clients by greeting persons by phone and in person,maintain multiple attorney calendars via Outlook,schedule appointments and consultations,manage monthly billing and collections,maintain paper and electronic client files,communicate with clients and opposing attorney offices,prepare legal documents and forms, andcopy and prepare pleadings, orders, and other filings to be sent to court.Some experience in the legal field is preferred. Typing, computer, and strong organizational skills are required. Candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently and independently, and have strong interpersonal skills.
