Mechanical Engineer

Role: Mechanical Engineer (System Owner)Location: Columbus, OH – OnsiteJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (System Owner) to support pharmaceutical/manufacturing operations in Columbus, OH. The candidate will be responsible for ownership, reliability, maintenance, and lifecycle management of mechanical systems and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Act as System Owner for mechanical/process utility systems and equipment.Support system performance, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Validation teams.Lead investigations, CAPA, change controls, and technical documentation updates.Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.Support equipment upgrades, commissioning, qualification, and project execution.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments.Experience with mechanical systems, utilities, equipment reliability, and system ownership.Knowledge of GMP/cGMP standards preferred.
