Job Posting Job Category: Guest Services Requisition Number: COMPL001481 Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, USA Job Details Position Summary The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the hotel's complimentary breakfast in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This role ensures guests receive a positive start to their day by delivering excellent service, maintaining food quality standards, and upholding brand guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Set up breakfast area according to brand standards and food safety guidelines • Prepare and replenish hot and cold food items in a timely manner • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service • Maintain cleanliness of breakfast area, including tables, counters, beverage stations, and serving equipment • Wash dishes, utensils, and breakfast equipment as needed • Follow all food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations • Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner • Respond promptly to guest questions or requests • Break down and clean breakfast area after service • Store food items properly and rotate stock using FIFO method • Assist with inventory tracking and notify management of low supplies • Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail • Friendly, guest-focused attitude Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
