Public Health System Applications PMP Certified Project Manager Base pay range: $44.88/hr - $49.90/hr Quantam Solutions provides IT solutions and consulting for various clients. Candidates must have an active PMP Certification through PMI and prior IT experience in the public health domain managing IT projects. The position is fully remote and interview will be conducted via Microsoft Teams video. Job Description We are looking for a qualified candidate to serve as the Public Health System Applications PMP Certified Project Manager for our client's Department of Public Health (DPH) system applications. These applications are used to improve the physical, socio-emotional health, safety, and well-being of all Kentucky women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families. The role is responsible for overseeing our client's technology teams that support DPH system applications. Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to) Coordinate, plan, and organize project activities. Interface with all stakeholders, including end users, vendors, and project staff. Analyze and negotiate project scope, budget, and schedule; manage vendor contracts. Assist with resource planning for projects. Proactively manage and track project risks, issues, budget, and schedule. Keep business sponsors and management informed of project status. Ensure client system design life cycle (SDLC) processes are followed. Oversee vendor and project team deliverables to ensure contract compliance. Implement changes resulting from Federal and/or State regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent recent, relevant work experience. Active PMP Certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, Project, Visio). Demonstrated ability to lead small–to–large project teams. Prior IT experience in the public health domain and managing IT projects. Experience managing issues, scope, quality, escalations, and risks. Track record of successfully managing IT projects and collaborating across business and IT teams. Proficiency in standard project management tools and methodologies, especially Microsoft Project and PMI methodologies. Experience managing vendors and contracts for large-scale IT projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead meetings, project teams, and communicate at all levels. Self-motivated and capable of exercising sound decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide projects using Microsoft technologies. Process improvement experience. Proposal or bid development experience. Experience with healthcare research, planning, and financial management. Experience with healthcare policy interpretation, development, and implementation. Experience analyzing regulatory authority, legislative action, and CMS guidelines. Experience working with the USDA Food and Nutrition Service. Experience with Salesforce. Experience with Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
