You will play a key role in building and scaling core systems powering complex financial workflows across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications. Your work will directly impact platform scalability, transaction reliability, and the speed at which customers manage and optimize cash flow.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and ship end-to-end product features across backend systems, APIs, and frontend applicationsDesign and scale distributed backend architecture supporting high-volume financial workflowsCollaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver impactful customer-facing solutionsTranslate ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable engineering solutionsMake sound technical tradeoffs between speed, maintainability, and long-term scalabilityContribute hands-on across the stack, including backend services, data workflows, APIs, and frontend featuresLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve iteration speed, engineering efficiency, and delivery qualityMust-Have QualificationsProven startup experience working in fast-paced, low-structure environmentsHands-on engineering mindset with the ability and willingness to actively code and contribute technicallyExperience developing large-scale systems within high-performing engineering organizations or large companiesStrong backend engineering fundamentals with professional experience in Python preferredExperience designing scalable backend architecture and complex distributed systemsAbility to work independently, make decisions with incomplete information, and drive projects end-to-endComfortable contributing across the stack, including APIs, data workflows, and frontend developmentPreferred QualificationsExperience building fintech, SaaS, or workflow automation platformsFamiliarity with modern cloud infrastructure and scalable system design patternsExperience improving engineering velocity through AI-assisted development workflowsStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teamsTrack record of owning critical technical initiatives from concept through production deliveryBenefitsMeaningful equity / stock optionsFlexible PTO plus U.S. or local holidaysHealth and wellness stipendFully remote, flexible work environmentHome office stipendLearning and professional development stipendPlease note: This role is intended for candidates located in Latin America.
