Job DescriptionProduction Assistant – Athletic Apparel brandOur client is a well-established and rapidly growing New York–based apparel company specializing in activewear and athleisure, spanning both private label and licensed brands. Our collections are recognized for their quality, innovation, and style, earning strong acclaim from both retailers and consumers. In addition to our in-house brands, we partner with major retailers to develop and produce private label programs.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment in the active apparel spacePosition OverviewThe Production Assistant will support the production team by coordinating with cross-functional departments and overseas factories, ensuring smooth execution from product development through final production. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and an interest in activewear and performance-driven apparel.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a liaison between sales, clients, and production/design teams Communicate daily with overseas vendors and internal teams Track and follow up on all stages of production, including:Pre-production Product development Tech packs and specifications Sampling and bulk production Monitor order status and ensure timelines and quality standards are met Assist with quality control processes from development through final production Maintain accurate production records and reports using Excel Support team with administrative and coordination tasks as needed RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience in garment production or a related field Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude CompensationSalary range: $50,000 – $60,000, based on experience and qualifications In person 5 days a weekIf you’re looking to build your career in the active and athleisure apparel industry with a company that values innovation and growth, we’d love to hear from you.Top of FormBottom of Form
