Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, including order picking, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods. Perform order picking and ensure accurate fulfillment of orders. Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all materials are accounted for and properly documented. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain organization within the warehouse. Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by operational demands. Experience Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred. Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is advantageous. Knowledge of construction practices can be beneficial for certain tasks within the warehouse environment. A background in materials handling will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
