Hospitalist in Iowa North Central Iowa 90 miles to Des Moines Residency program here Admitting and rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years and older Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Fourteen to Sixteen, 12-hour shifts per month; 7a 7p 7on/7off scheduling 12-hour shifts; 7a 7p Telehospitalist service overnight Average patients/day = 18 Open ICU with intensivist available to consult No night shifts, no call, no procedures and no codes Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills Outstanding work/life balance with flexible scheduling
