Sales Development Representative (SDR)
The aim of a Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to grow TCN's customer base by generating leads, soliciting new potential customers, and connecting these customers with the right salesperson. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting the sale up for success. TCN is committed to an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, improvement, and quality.Specific ResponsibilitiesMaintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods through LinkedIn, new prospect calling, emailing, and other inbound and outbound lead generation methodsAnticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leadsSupport senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead-generating effortsAttend product training and develop an understanding of those products are used in real-world situationsMonitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the sales representativesBe the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forwardEstablish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openingsCollaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead-generation ideas to each weekly meetingQualificationsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralWorking knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quicklyProficient with MS and Google SuiteDemonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls as well as fielding inbound sales opportunitiesHave a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospectsHave experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leadsMust be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environmentYou love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvementThorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospectsAbout TCNTCN is a fast-growing technology company and provides all its services over the internet in a cloud-based software-as-a-service model.
