Associate, Disputes and Investigations (Washington)

Wolf Global combines litigation and trial experience with global investigations and crisis management experience to create solutions to complex, high priority, high exposure cases, crises, and situations. Wolf Global is seeking an experienced litigator capable of straddling the disputes practice of Wolf, P.A. and the investigations practice of Wolf Global. About the Role No matter where you have worked before, this will be different: An opportunity to combine your litigation and trial experience with the capabilities and resources of Wolf Global, working on cross border, cross cultural matters that involve: International, high-net-worth disputes § 1782 and other cross-border discovery mechanisms Asset tracing and recovery Sanctions Reputation Investigations consulting and litigation support International investigative due diligence and deal advisory You will work directly with firm leadership, integrating litigation, strategy, and intelligence in a way that produces, not merely activity in cases, but results. Attorneys may be considered for contract associate or of counsel positions, but ideal candidates will be considered for immediate permanent placement. More experienced candidates will be considered for more senior roles. All candidates will be given an opportunity for growth. Laterals are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate may be considered for a practice leadership position. Who We’re Looking For We are seeking a lawyer with experience leading federal litigation, and who preferably has tried cases to verdict. Ideal experience includes most or all of the following: International litigation Strategic use of § 1782 Asset tracing and recovery Matters involving global assets, sophisticated structures, international counterparties, or high-net-worth private clients Most importantly, we want someone who inspires confidence. Your writing should be excellent. Your lawyering should be exceptional. Your judgment should be sound. We are looking for someone who can handle a courtroom while leveraging the investigative and strategic strengths that define Wolf Global. We are especially interested in: AmLaw 50/100 lawyers seeking meaningful work, greater autonomy, and a platform where they can excel Exceptional litigators capable of leading high priority, high exposure cases from start to finish Lawyers stepping out of BigLaw but who still want to handle significant international disputes Compensation models, billing rates, and cost structures will be addressed once the candidate profile is narrowed.
