Apply via Dice today!(Chemist with expertise/knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences, botanicals as applicable to cosmetic industry)Task 1- Cosmetic Registration and Product ListingUtilizes knowledge and experience in development, scale-up, manufacturing, product formulations, and analytical specifications to provide scientific support for the interpretation of information available to the FDA as they might relate to safety data. Utilizes FDA reporting systems to provide scientific support for the interpretation of product listing and adverse events information to support compliance and risk assessment efforts.Task 2- AssessmentsUtilizes existing chemistry knowledge and skills to enable assigning functional identifiers to ingredients based on their formulation roles to support ingredient safety assessments in cosmetic products.Task 3- Identification and Development of ToolsAssist with the development of tools to support compliance assignments and risk assessment efforts of cosmetic products and ingredients, using facility, listing and adverse event data available to the FDA. Help facilitate product association across multiple systems to support overall cosmetic product safety assessment.Task 4- Data ReportingAssist with timely reporting of product listing, registration and associated adverse event findings. Support providing recommendations for any subsequent action or need for further collaboration.Task 5- Guidance and PoliciesProvide scientific support towards the development of any guidance or policies that might be related to data analyses for cosmetic products and ingredients.Required experience: BS 10yrs / MS 6yrs
