The company is committed to delivering authentic, high-quality culinary experiences that highlight the spirit and flavors of Southern Italian cuisine.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Assistant General Manager role based in San Francisco.This is a hands-on leadership position. The AGM is expected to be present on the floor, lead service, support the team in real time, and ensure consistency across all aspects of the guest experience.You will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to oversee daily operations, including service execution, staff leadership, and operational organization. This role also requires coordination across multiple areas of the business, including private events, off-site catering, and inventory management.The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing service leadership with operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Lead service on the floor and support the team during peak shiftsTrain, coach, and develop FOH staffOversee scheduling, labor management, and daily operationsSupport the execution of private events and off-site cateringMonitor inventory and assist with ordering and cost controlMaintain compliance with health, safety, and company standardsQualifications 3–5+ years of restaurant management experienceStrong presence on the floor and ability to lead by exampleComfortable managing both service and operational responsibilitiesExperience in high-volume or fast-paced restaurant environmentsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExperience with Toast, 7shifts, or similar systems preferredStrong interest in wine; knowledge of Italian wines is a plusAbility to confidently guide guests through wine selections and support the team on the floorPrevious experience working with a curated wine program preferred
