Job Title: Art Installer / Professional MoverFull time On location West Palm Beach, FL Position SummaryMcCorquodale Transfer is looking for an Art Installer / Professional Mover to join their team!The Art Installer / Professional Mover is responsible for the safe handling, transportation, installation, and removal of high-value artwork, décor, and specialty items in residential and commercial environments. This position combines technical installation skills with professional moving services and requires a strong understanding of carpentry, mounting systems, jobsite safety, and customer service.When installation work is not scheduled, this role will operate as part of the moving crew and assist with packing, loading, transporting, and delivering household or commercial goods. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail oriented, comfortable working independently, and capable of representing the company professionally in client-facing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, hang, secure, level, and remove artwork, mirrors, décor, and specialty fixtures in homes, offices, galleries, and other client locationsHandle oversized, fragile, high-value, and specialty items with extreme care and attention to detailEvaluate wall types, mounting requirements, weight loads, and installation methods before beginning workPerform light carpentry and handyman-related tasks necessary to complete installationsUse and maintain tools, ladders, mounting hardware, anchors, measuring equipment, and installation materialsTransport artwork and specialty items safely using company vehicles, including 26 ft box trucks & sprinter vans when assignedOperate independently on installation jobs while maintaining communication with dispatch and leadershipAssist moving crews with packing, loading, unloading, wrapping, furniture protection, assembly/disassembly, and delivery servicesMaintain a clean, organized vehicle and work areaProvide professional, polished customer service in high-end residential and commercial environmentsComplete job documentation, photos, and installation notes as requiredFollow company safety procedures and protect client property at all timesRequired QualificationsExperience in carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinetry, art installation, construction, handyman work, furniture installation, moving, or a related fieldStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve installation challenges independentlyExperience using power tools, hand tools, mounting hardware, and measuring equipmentAbility to safely lift and maneuver heavy objects (100+ lbs with assistance)Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record requiredAbility to meet company insurance requirements for operating company vehiclesComfortable driving sprinter vans and working independently at job sitesStrong attention to detail and ability to work with expensive and delicate itemsProfessional appearance and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience hanging artwork, mirrors, signage, millwork, or specialty installationsPrevious moving industry experienceKnowledge of wall systems, anchors, mounting methods, and weight distributionExperience working in luxury residential or commercial environmentsOSHA or safety training preferredPhysical RequirementsFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pullingRegular bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and overhead workAbility to work in varying environments and travel locally as needed
