Come join our journey, and experience what it means to be Done Right with Rhoads.\nWe are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical is responsible for supporting Rhoads' Maintenance Department in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and consistent operations across all Rhoads Industries' business lines. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Maintenance Department shares accountability with the Rhoads Quality/Safety Director in upholding and enforcing all applicable safety precautions and programs associated with the use and maintenance of equipment. The Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical is expected to thoroughly read, understand, and adhere to Rhoads' standard procedures for equipment maintenance, as well as ISO 9000 standards related to tools, and any ASME and AISC requirements governing equipment and tool standards.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\n\nInspect, install, and repair interior and exterior wiring systems, electrical fixtures, interior and exterior lighting and other related equipment.\nAbility to troubleshoot and offer solutions to resolve issues with lighting, power, heavy machinery systems, etc.\nAssemble new electrical components and equipment\nCompose clear lists of materials required for completion of jobs\nOrganize to support multiple projects and prioritize to meet required deadlines.\nMaintain clean work area in the shop. Provide support as required.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nYour Background\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or associate degree in industrial mechanics, maintenance technology, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 5 years' experience in commercial/industrial electrical setting\nMust be capable and willing to work flexible hours and overtime when required.\nMust possess a valid driver's license.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.\nUnderstanding and familiar with ISO, and UL Certifications.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass all background clearances including but not limited to Motor Vehicle Check, and a drug screening.\nOSHA 10 certificate. Must be completed within 90 days of Hire.\nComfortable working with power systems up to 3-phase 480V.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with Project Executives, Project Managers, Foremen, Craftsmen, and all members of the Rhoads Project Team, including direct customers of the Tool & Equipment function.\nKnowledge of state and local electrical codes to ensure compliance with building regulations.\nBroad knowledge of mechanical repair, with the ability to learn continuously, think critically, and apply innovative solutions.\nProven ability to manage multiple responsibilities, set priorities, and oversee several projects simultaneously.\nSkilled at performing effectively under time-sensitive conditions.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and intermediate analytical capabilities.\nDemonstrates initiative, collaboration, persistence, and tact, with the ability to think strategically and influence outcomes effectively.\n\nThe Work Environment at Rhoads\n\nCapable of meeting the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, carrying, and other manual labor tasks.\nMust be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.\nMust be capable of working in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and driving in an automobile;\nMay require walking and standing on irregular and uneven surfaces in an industrial setting;\nMust be comfortable performing work at heights of up to 100 feet;\nThe performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety toe boots, hard hats, and hearing protection is required.\n\nWhat Rhoads Can Offer You\nAt Rhoads Industries, our team is the foundation of our success.
