This on-site leader guides and supports team members, serves as the link between staff and management, and helps coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain smooth, efficient shift operations in fast-paced environments.Minimum Qualifications:Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security LicenseMust be 21 years of age or olderMust complete armed training and maintain a valid pistol permitValid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standardsDuties & Responsibilities:Security OperationsPerform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.Incident Response & ReportingRespond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.Customer Service & ProfessionalismAssist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesTeam Oversight & SupportGuide and support junior officersEnsure protocol and customer service standards are metAssist with scheduling and shift coverageRequired Skills & Abilities:Minimum Required:Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.Availability to work weekends.Strong situational awareness and curiosity.Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.Preferred:Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)Stand for at least 1 hour without support or breakSit for at least 1 hour without breakWalk at least 1⁄2 mile without stoppingEducation & Experience :Minimum:Education: HS Diploma or equivalentExperience: 1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.Preferred:3+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience1+ years of verifiable Supervisory experienceNote: The roles, responsibilities, qualifications, skills, and experience outlined above are not exhaustive and may be modified or expanded at any time to meet client or company business needs .Security Engineers, Inc.
