Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve in a school setting located in Richmond, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students, supporting their communication and speech development within an educational environment. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through May 22, 2026.Responsibilities:Provide speech and language therapy to students, addressing a range of communication disordersCollaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plansMaintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with the school's support teamEnsure compliance with district policies and licensing requirements, including completion of fingerprint background checksQualifications:Active SLP licensure is requiredExperience working in school-based settings is preferredAbility to manage a caseload with approximately 7.5 hours of direct service per day, Monday through FridayStrong communication skills and a commitment to student-centered careSuccessful completion of required fingerprinting and background clearance through the districtLocation:Richmond, TX school environment with assignments based on the needs of the districtThis role offers a scheduled 37.5-hour work week with Monday through Friday daytime hours.
