Job Description:Mars Snacking North America is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sr. Director, Sales Finance to serve as the primary finance partner to the Sales organization. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will shape commercial strategy, drive Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and ensure disciplined trade investment and profitable growth across a $15B business.What are we looking for?Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred15+ years of progressive finance experience, including Sales/Commercial FinanceCPA/CFA a plusExperience leading large, matrixed teams in complex environmentsDeep expertise in CPG, retail, or similar industriesStrong experience in Revenue Growth Management and trade investmentProven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic outcomesWhat will be your key responsibilities?Serve as primary finance partner to Sales Leadership, influencing strategy and decision-makingLead customer and channel P&L ownership, including performance tracking and delivery of profitability targetsDrive Revenue Growth Management (pricing, promotions, trade optimization)Align customer profitability with incentive structures and commercial prioritiesOwn Sales P&L (Net Sales, Gross-to-Net, Trade, Customer Profitability)Lead forecasting, AOP, and long-range planning processes with strong focus on accuracyProvide advanced analytics and insights to improve decision-making and commercial performanceTrade & Financial Governance:Ensure strong Gross-to-Net governance including trade spend, deductions, and accrualsPartner with Internal Audit and Controllership to ensure audit readiness and complianceImplement controls to minimize financial risk and improve transparencyDrive reduction in value leakage (unsaleables, deductions, A/R risk, terms compliance)Team Leadership & Ways of Working:Lead a multi-layered Sales Finance organization including RFM, Demand COE, and Sales ControllingStandardize financial frameworks, tools, and reporting across teamsDevelop top finance talent and build strong leadership pipelineFoster high-performance culture with accountability and continuous improvementTransformation & Capability Building:Enhance financial systems, planning tools, and analytics capabilitiesIncrease visibility into trade, customer profitability, and performance driversDrive simplification and digital enablement across Sales Finance processesWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 232,000.00 - USD 319,000.00
