Job Title: Data Center Hardware Installation Technician Location: Onsite, Kent, WA 98032Duration: 12 months (Potential for extension or conversion – YES)Pay Rate: $30/hr.Our client in the technology and network infrastructure industry is seeking a Data Center Technician II to join their Network Platform Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on data center experience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform structured physical infrastructure work in a fast-paced lab environment.Top 3 Must-Have Skills Data Center Experience Racking and Stacking Structured Cabling What’s the Job? Perform racking and stacking of network and lab equipment in large-scale test environments Execute cabling and cable management across multi-rack lab setups with high connection density Support unboxing, staging, and physical deployment of hardware devices Assist with decommissioning, removal, and reconfiguration of lab equipment Maintain lab organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness for engineering teams What’s Needed? 1–3+ years of data center or lab technician experience Strong hands-on experience with racking, stacking, and structured cabling Ability to perform physical hardware installation and deinstallation tasks Familiarity with maintaining organized and structured lab environments Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced technical environment Nice to Have Skills Fiber Optics experience Linux fundamentals Basic Networking knowledge What’s it in me?
