Full-Stack Software Engineer

Designed for various facilities, including ice rinks, multi-sports complexes, and parks and recreation agencies, our adaptable cloud-based solution enhances organizational efficiency, elevates the customer experience, and boosts revenue.We are currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying code for our products. Working in small teams and utilizing agile programming practices, this position will assist in developing and maintaining software systems. Will work on a variety of projects, platforms and technologies to expand new and existing software to meet the changing requirements. Will write automated unit tests for code to ensure correctness and stability. Will assist with the deployment of completed items. Will occasionally be required outside usual work hours to assist with urgent issues.Job ResponsibilitiesWork with other engineers, product managers, and designers within an agile delivery teamCollaborate with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirementsDesign, develop, and implement features and bug fixes for our web applicationsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code on both the front-end and back-endDevelop and maintain well-functioning databases and APIsTroubleshoot and debug complex technical issuesStay up to date on the latest web development trends and technologiesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving code qualityWrite clear and concise technical documentationRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field; or has work experience deemed a sufficient level of equivalency 4+ years of professional experience developing software as a Full-Stack engineerStrong understanding of Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular)Strong understanding of back-end technologies (server-side scripting languages like Python, Java, or PHP, databases like MySQL)Knowledge and understanding of relational database designEffective communication and collaboration skillsComfortable working in a cross functional teamDemonstrated attention to detailDesire to innovateA passion for building high-quality web applicationsAbility to learn quicklyDesired ExperienceDeveloping using agile programming methodologiesGit and with CI/CD using GitHub ActionsDeveloping software with automated unit testsAbility to thrive in a brownfield environmentBuilding web pages from designer-supplied mockups using tools like FigmaWriting and integrating APIs (Application Programming Interface)Back-end application development using PHP and/or LaravelFront-end application development using AngularDeveloping with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with mobile developmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and more!401k plan with company match on your contributions.Open PTO and a generous paid holiday schedule.Supportive work environment with the flexibility to work where/how you want – in-office, remote, or hybrid.Opportunities to ensure you are always learning and growing.How You Will WorkThis Will Be a US Based Position.
