Job Description Overnight Pet Sitter (Boulder County & Surrounding Areas)Your Pet Staycations is a premium, in-home pet care company providing calm, reliable overnight care for pets in their own homes while their humans are away.We are hiring Overnight Pet Sitters to join a small, trusted care team. This role is designed as supplemental income and is best suited for responsible, grounded adults who enjoy caring for animals and are available to consistently take on work.This role is a good fit for:Remote workers or freelancers with flexible schedulesGraduate students with daytime availabilityRetired or semi-retired individualsPeople with steady income seeking additional, flexible workService Area (Required)Sitters must be able and willing to take sits within:SuperiorLafayetteBoulderErieAll of Boulder County (required)In addition, we are looking for sitters with availability in nearby areas where we frequently serve clients, including:ArvadaGoldenLo-Hi (Highlands)Wheat Ridgeand surrounding areas within this rangeWhat the role involvesStaying overnight in clients' homesProviding evening, overnight, and morning routines, plus a mid-day potty break when requiredFollowing established care instructions, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications (when applicable), play, enrichment, and companionshipMaintaining a clean, respectful presence in the homeSending daily updates with photos and brief notes using our apps and technologyCommunicating clearly and reaching out when guidance is neededScheduling Expectations & ParticipationSitters are expected to accept a minimum of 1–3 overnight sits per month on an ongoing basisThis role is for individuals who are actively interested in taking work, not occasional or passive availabilityDuring high-demand periods (weekends, holidays, spring break, and summer), sitters are expected to take on additional sits, trending toward the higher end of that range (2–3+ per month)Sitters must be able to respond to job offers in a timely manner, with same-day responses required for last-minute requests, even if the response is simply that they are not availableThis role is not structured as casual, last-minute gig work.
